Art & Pottery Sale South County Art Association 10 am - 2 pm : Pottery Sale 1 pm - 5 pm : Exhibition & Store The SCAA invites you to our Annual ‘Quality Seconds’ Pottery and Art Sale, in which all pottery is priced at $20 or less. This is pottery with extra character! This event is a testament to the strong support of our local potters, who donate hundreds of pottery pieces throughout the year to support our nonprofit. You'll find mugs, plates, bowls, vases, and platters. In our gallery, you can view our Earthworks Exhibit which is filled with original works in clay. Our gallery store will be open and is filled with our members' art, where you'll find paintings, prints, cards, jewelry, and more pottery!
Craft Sale Fayerweather House 10.00 am - 4.00 pm Fayerweather Craft Guild will host its annual outdoor craft sale at Fayerweather House, 1859 Mooresfield Road, Kingston, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring the hand-crafted creations of more than 40 local artisans.
Jonnycake Festival Fayerweather House 10.30 am - 1.00 pm Visit Fayerweather House for the annual Jonnycake Festival. They'sll be serving jonnycakes hot off the griddle with maple syrup and choice of beverage for $5. The guild's shop will also be open from 10.00 am - 4.00 pm.
Fire Truck Rides Kingston Fire Department 10 am - 12 pm Each year, children of all ages look forward to a ride on the big red truck! Fire Truck rides will be offered across from the library.(Rides will be canceled if the roads are wet.)
Mayple Syrup Sale Kingston Free Library Lawn 10 am - 1 pm The Windus Family and a team of volunteers have been maple sugaring in Kingston for 35 years. See some examples of the equipment used in syrup making. Pints and quarts of dark amber syrup will be available for purchase.
Garden Stroll Friends of the Kinney Faella Gardens: 10 am - 2 pm Friends of the Kinney Faella Gardens invite you to stroll through over 500 varieties of Azaleas and Rhododendrons. The grounds are open year round during daylight hours, and plants are available for sale. Admission is free and donations are always appreciated.
Book Sale Kingston Free Library 9 am - 2 pm Join the Friends of the Kingston Free Library for their annual "spring cleaning" book sale. Find that treasure for your summer reading or just pick up a bargain! Stroll along the main street of Kingston today and take part in the Village's annual welcome to spring! South County History Exhibits & Gift Shop South County History Center 10.00 am - 2.00 pm Visit the South County History Center to view an exhibit exploring Ernest Hamlin Baker's mural "The Economic Activities of the Narragansett Planters", and a display of newly acquired portraits of Violet Hazard and Oliver H.P. Historic Church Tour Kingston Congregational Church 10 am - 11.30 pm Local historian Elizabeth McNab will be giving public tours of the historic Kingston Congregational Church building. The sanctuary was constructed in 1820 and has been a centerpiece of Kingston Village life for two centuries! Come hear her wonderful stories of the past and ask questions.

Open House Tavern Hall Club 10.00 am - 1.00 pm Come visit the historic Elisha Reynolds House, more commonly known as "Tavern Hall", home to Elisha Reynolds, a former speaker of the Rhode Island House of Representatives. During the Revolution, the house was used as a meeting place for the 3rd Kings County Regiment of the Rhode Island militia (known as the Kingston Reds), that was formed in May 1779 under the command of Col. Thomas Potter. On 5 March 1781, Col. Potter served as host of General George Washington and his officers in the house on a final stop on their famed journey to confer with General Rochambeau in Newport, Rhode Island where the two commanding generals possibly planned Rochambeau's mobilization and the decisive Siege of Yorktown.

Alpaca Lunch Band Kingston Free Library Lawn 10.30 am - 12.30 pm Alpaca Lunch is a group of old-time musicians based in Rhode Island who gather to play historic folk music using traditional instruments, including fiddle, banjo, and guitar, among others. Their old-time music always lends itself well to times of joyous celebration or commemoration of the changing seasons.
Kingston Reds Militia Encampment Tavern Hall Club Lawn 10.00 am - 1.00 pm The Kingston Reds, the Kings County regiment of the Rhode Island Militia founded in the Elisha Reynolds House in 1775, wearing their Kingston Reds uniforms, will have a cooking demonstration of foods that troops would have eaten during the Revolutionary War. Samples will be available! From 10 to 1.
